Corporate College Services, Inc.
Overview
Corporate College Services, Inc. (CCS), an NCCRS member since March 2010, provides customized degree completion program services to corporations with the express purpose of building exemplary managerial leadership skills throughout the corporate environment. Through transposing contemporary business needs into academic competencies, Corporate College Services helps corporations build a highly competent and promotable workforce while employees earn credit toward a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. A cooperating, regionally accredited, four-year college grants the degree.
Corporations seeking sustainable competitive advantage require flexible, knowledgeable workers and a new "way" to manage. The challenge, beyond keeping pace with change, is to anticipate the human knowledge, skills, abilities, and attitudes needed to succeed in the continuously changing business environment and develop these skills deep within the organization. Corporate College Services partners with corporations to "make always ready" an agile, sustainable workforce.
Human resource development is central to the Corporate College Services program. Course curriculum focuses students on fundamental management precepts, process oriented strategies, and skills development with particular emphasis on critical analysis, problem solving and people development. Adult learners appreciate real world applications and develop the knowledge, attitudes and portable skills needed to help their corporations creatively and constructively surf the challenges of ongoing change. The workplace is our learning laboratory.
A hallmark of this adult learning program is its commitment to excellence in customer service. Corporations want services that reduce employee stress - therefore, all registration, student advisement, and academic and instructional services are delivered at the work site. Learning is enhanced through supportive learning cohorts. Classes taught in fully equipped corporate classrooms, conference centers and computer labs promote interactive, experiential, and contextual methodologies. Faculty recruited from business, industry, and academia hold management positions, earned professional certification and are selected for their interest in teaching and contribution to the field.
Successful completion of four major areas of study in Leadership Development, Organization Management, Business Processes, and Business Environments (a total of 42 courses) earns an adult student a Certificate in Organizational Management and application toward the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at an accredited four year college.
