75 Hours (6 weeks).
March 2025 - Present.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: clearly discuss the theological bases that underpin Pentecostal eschatology; define the Biblical foundations of a sound Pentecostal Eschatology; develop biblical theological skills to build a coherent Pentecostal eschatology; exhibit sensitivity and respect with different eschatological currents without renouncing the one he/she has built; live in accordance with the principles of healthy coexistence and biblical justice and reflect them with daily testimony; develop skills to lovingly defend an Eschatological position; develop a coherent Pentecostal eschatology; design a project of Christian hope in harmony with Pentecostal theology and ecclesiology; and enter into a respectful and constructive dialogue with other aspects of Christian eschatology.
This course examines eschatology from a broad point of view that includes the Old and New Testaments, including the study of the influence of the different contemporary interpretations of apocalyptic eschatology in the Pentecostal tradition: dispensationalism, the early/latter rain movements and the theology of hope and analyzes the function of eschatology within modern Pentecostalism and the possibility of a Pentecostalism that transcends dispensationalist interpretations.
