UMGC accepts many kinds of transfer credit. You can even earn credit for what you've learned on the job or in the military. At the end of the day, we focus on helping busy professionals like you earn the credit you deserve so you can graduate sooner, save money, and prepare for your next success. UMGC students and applicants can earn up to 90 credits toward an undergraduate degree and up to 12 credits toward a graduate degree. A maximum of 60 credits may be transferred from 2-year colleges, and 90- credits may be transferred from 4-year colleges.
