Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: analyze the role and impact of information technologies and its infrastructures on global business operations and market competitiveness; evaluate how digital information technologies are integrated into global e-business strategies to drive enterprise solutions and organizational success; assess, and propose information system solutions that address specific business challenges within the context of current global market demands; describe critical factors governing the successful integration of key systems within organizations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and decision-making processes; and explain the relationship between the strategic management of the latest IT technologies and the creation of business value, leveraging examples from contemporary digital age practices.
This course delves into the impact of information technologies (IT) and IT infrastructures on global business landscapes and focuses on the strategic deployment of networked digital IT within global e-business frameworks, emphasizing the importance of integrating essential systems for enterprise-wide solutions, and explores the connection between contemporary business competitiveness and the strategic design and administration of cutting-edge information systems in the digital era
