Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: define roots, prefixes, suffixes, and abbreviations common to general medical terminology.
Instruction:
Major topics include: introduction to medical terminology: combining forms; plurals of medical terms; pronunciation; general terms; abbreviations; medical terms by body system and an introduction to coding and billing practices.
