Learner Outcomes:
Explore all aspects of singing technique, style, musicality and lyric interpretation.
Instruction:
Students develop basic vocal techniques (breath control and tone placement in singing), learn how to interpret a lyric and act a song, culminating in a demonstration on camera.
Credit recommendation:
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 1 semester hour in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (6/09).
