Learner Outcomes:
Apply movement training to character work in period plays; integrate vocal and movement skills in rehearsal and performance.
Instruction:
Students explore character movement through the use of improvisational games to create actor movement, exercises and drills for physical awareness, flexibility, reduction of habitual behavior, and discovery of new movement potential. (Prerequisite: THE302)
Credit recommendation:
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 3 semester hours in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (6/09).
