Act and improvise with spontaneity, imagination, physical freedom, and verbal agility.
Instruction:
The instructor introduces the concept that improvisation enhances focus and believable action in order to transform acting into behavior. Concepts are augmented with traditional games, theater games, ensemble building exercises and scene work.
Credit recommendation:
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 1 semester hour in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (6/09).
