Version 1: June 2002 - August 2004. Version 2: September 2004 - May 2009 . Version 3: June 2009 - December 2013.

Learner Outcomes: 
Version 1 or 2: Discuss basic film acting technique; lay a foundation for the audition process and for more advanced training in film and TV performance. Version 3:Converse comfortably using film terminology and apply camera skills and behaviors to acting craft.
Instruction: 
Version 1 or 2: Students engage in exercises in auditioning, breaking down a scene, and exploring basic acting technique. Version 3: Develop camera skills through working a scene, monologues, and one and two camera set ups. Learn film and organizational terminology.
Credit recommendation: 
Version 1: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (12/02). Version 2 or 3: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (7/04 revalidation) (6/09 revalidation).
