Learner Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: evaluate complex mathematical expressions; solve verbal problems by translating them into mathematical representations; solve linear and quadratic equations; represent solutions on one and two-dimensional planes; and define geometric terms, theorems, and formulas.

This course provides students with knowledge and familiarity in Algebraic and Geometric fundamentals through classroom-based instruction using practice problems, homework assignments, and exams.
Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in Elementary or Intermediate Algebra with Geometry (2/12).
