Learner Outcomes: 
Students will be able to: define multimedia and discuss its role for the future, deliver presentations using effective communication skills, enter slide text and add a new slide, insert slide headers and footers, insert clip art, tables, animation, sounds, Macros, and Hyperlinks, embed an Excel chart, set slide slow transitions and timings, use slide show commands, customize animation effects, create a custom slide show, prepare a presentation for distribution.
Instruction: 
This course combines text and technology to create learning experiences using interactive textbook readings followed by open-book concepts review, skills review, and other challenging exercises. Other instructional methods include reading assignments, unit exercises, course projects, final project, and final exam.
Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division associate/baccalaureate degree category, 2 semester hours in Microsoft Power Point 2010 (3/12).
