Learner Outcomes: 
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: learn and apply the federal regulatory requirements for worker safety on construction sites.
Instruction: 
This course creates awareness of hazards associated with the construction site and instructs apprentices with the knowledge and skills necessary to minimize injury. It covers federal regulatory requirements that govern work site safety and conditions. Upon successful completion of the course, apprentices will be awarded an OSHA-30 Hour Construction Industry Certificate.
Credit recommendation: 

In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in Millwright or related disciplines (11/13) (1/19 revalidation).
