Learner Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate continued growth in skills and understanding upon completion of Drawing I and illustrate in color.


Major topics are: an introduction to the art of drawing and illustration with various types of color media, the fundamental principles of line, tone, texture, perspective and composition. Students explore a wide range of colored mediums and investigate their effects and uses on the drawing.

Credit recommendation: 

In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in Art (2/11) (4/16 revalidation) (3/21 revalidation).
