Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify and describe the main topics covered in the unit for instruction in Pentateuch/Mishna/Gemara and prepare an instructional  lesson focused on the Holidays.

Instruction: 

Major topics are: methods and strategies in teaching Jewish Studies Curriculum content areas, goals of teaching, uniqueness of teaching Jewish studies; and creation.

Credit recommendation: 

In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in Education (2/11) (4/16 revalidation).
