Word: Students will be able to: create and save files; manipulate text; format characters and paragraphs; create, format and edit tables; insert headers, footers and page breaks; set margins and page orientation; proof documents; insert and modify graphics. Excel: Students will be able to: navigate spreadsheet; enter and modify data and formulas; use absolute references; use functions; format text and numbers; print worksheet and ranges; create and manipulate charts; manage multiple worksheets; use conditional formatting with graphics; insert and modify SmartArt graphics and screenshots. Powerpoint: Create presentations; manipulate slides; format text; utilize drawing tools; insert graphics and WordArt; add tables and charts. Labs Include: Word: Creating and organizing files; manipulating text; formatting, proofing and printing files; inserting graphics; Excel: Entering data and formulas, relative and absolute references; defining cell ranges; working with functions; printing; creating and modifying charts; Powerpoint: creating presentations; editing and formatting presentations; inserting graphics, WordArt and charts.

Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour as Computer Software Applications (10/12). NOTE: Microsoft Office Trilogy - Basic (280), Microsoft Office Trilogy - Intermediate (281), and Microsoft Office Trilogy - Advanced (282) are sequential and when taken consecutively are comparable to a 3 semester hour course in Computer Software Applications.
