Learner Outcomes: 
Analyze plays from the beginnings of Greek drama to the 19th Century. Research cultural and historical influences on drama with a particular emphasis on acting styles.
Instruction: 
Explore the world's great plays from the beginnings of Greek drama to the 19th Century within their historical context. Trace changes in theater styles, genres, presentations, and theater architecture. (Prerequisite: THE304)
Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 2 semester hours in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (6/09).
