Learner Outcomes: 
Students will be able to develop their unique hosting style; implement technology associated with hosting (teleprompter, IFB); develop grace under pressure for live television; develop content for hosted television.
Instruction: 
This course is designed to acquaint students with the techniquers, styles, technology and disciplines of the art of hosting for televsion. Students willwork with scripts for television segments, both existing and original, in front of the camera. Work is recorded and critiqued by instructor and peers.
Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category or in the upper division baccalaureate degree category, 1 semester hour in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (7/12).
