Instruction:

Course 4: This course encompasses several sub-classes, including materials selection, solo rehearsal, duet/trio rehearsal, company rehearsal, showcase performance, and advisement sessions. Students work with faculty to select their showcase material (solos, duets, trios, as well as monologues and scenes) to further refine and polish the chosen material. The company rehearsal refines and polishes the ensemble numbers, as well as the flow of the entire performance. Students are allotted one minute for solos, two minutes for duets, and three minutes for trios. Since the rehearsals address individual and group needs, the lessons are structured to suit the needs of individual students. Students are expected to spend a minimum of four hours per week rehearsing and exploring material.
