Learner Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: develop a preparation and rehearsal process for successful acting work in a play and gain the skills necessary to offer excellent acting work; create and utilize the Four Lists; create all six sides of the playing space with the senses and imagination; utilize specific environment to support physical actions and sensory conditions; listen and respond in-the-moment; define the obstacles; stay physically committed to a character's wants/needs; personalize the material.

Instruction: 

This course exposes actors to techniques that  build individual crafts of artists. Focus is on text analysis, sensory work, actions and truthful behavior in the given circumstances of the play. Classical and contemporary plays by the finest playwrights are used for scene work.
