Version 1: June 2002 - August 2004. Version 2: September 2004 - May 2009. Version 3: September 2009 - December 2013.

Learner Outcomes: 
Version 1 or 2: Achieve awareness of one's potential for a professional acting career. Version 3: Achieve a basic awareness of the difference between stage and television techniques using various forms of commercial styles.
Instruction: 
Version 1 or 2: Work on commercial copy through improvisation, on camera copy, discussion of student's type, and how student will fit into the acting profession. Version 3: Explore Motion Only Shot and scripted commercials on camera through improvisation and text work.
Credit recommendation: 
Version 1, 2, or 3: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in Theatre, Drama, Communications, or Radio and Television (12/02) (7/04 revalidation) (6/09 revalidation).
