Version 1 and 2: 40 hours (1 week).

Learner Outcomes: 

Version 1 and 2: Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to identify and interpret standard symbols for electrical, electronic, and mechanical elements on engineering drawings.

Instruction: 

Version 1 and 2: Major topics include: electrical, electronic, and mechanical symbols; types of prints and their uses; print revisions.

Credit recommendation: 

Version 1: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 1 semester hour in Engineering Technology (8/02) (9/07 revalidation) (10/14 revalidation). Version 2: In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 2 semester hours in Engineering Technology (9/19 revalidation). NOTE: for Version 1 and 2: This course replaces Electrical and Mechanical Print Reading I for I and C Technicians (FIC-0207).
