Institute of America
The mission of the Institute of America is to provide high quality, inexpensive, and easily accessible post-secondary educational opportunities to men and women throughout the United States, Canada, and around the world where the internet can be accessed. It is our hope to make an opportunity for higher education available to everyone who has the desire and ability to pursue advanced academic study. In an effort to assist men in gaining academic credit for knowledge previously attained and as an evaluative instrument for Institute of America programs of study, the Institute has created a number of subject specific, undergraduate level, proficiency exams. Examination preparation guides which include a wide variety of learning resources are available to students preparing to take these examinations. To help facilitate learning the Institute encourages churches, libraries, and civic groups to sponsor discussion or exam preparation groups. Such organizations are also eligible to become authorized Institute of America Testing Centers.
