Learner Outcomes: 

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: detail the functions and regulations of the Human organ systems and their integration to maintain homeostasis; explain the body's response to exercise and the integration of organ system functions to meet the demands of exercise; and sketch and label the systems of the human body.

Instruction: 
This non-laboratory course explores the functions and interactions of living systems in organisms through classroom-based instruction by using lecture/discussion, films, PowerPoint presentations, field trips, papers, and exams.
Credit recommendation: 
In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in General Science (2/12).
